Kaycee Cavender is a proud wife, mother, Christian, and small-business owner with deep roots in Cleburne County. Her husband Robert’s family has lived here for six generations, and together they are raising their five children, four on earth and one in heaven, with strong faith and traditional Alabama values.
Kaycee learned hard work early in life, growing up working rodeos and team ropings alongside her father and competing as an all-around athlete in multiple sports and horse shows. At fifteen, she began working in a local law firm, where she discovered a passion for law, justice, and serving her community. She continued working in the legal field through high school and beyond, gaining experience in civil and criminal cases, class-action lawsuits, and bankruptcy law.
She earned her Associate of Science degree from Southern Union State Community College on academic scholarships, pursued further studies at Jacksonville State University, and later received her paralegal certification. Her career took her to Baldwin County, where she worked for former district attorneys and municipal judges, experiences that deepened her understanding of the legislative process and the power of community-driven political engagement.
Kaycee has also led multiple large grassroots efforts, advocating for families, freedom, and government accountability. Her years of organizing and mobilizing communities have shown her how deeply people want a representative who listens and takes action.
In 2017, Kaycee and Robert returned home with their children to Cleburne County. In 2022, she, alongside co-owner Valencia Cantrell, opened CC Athletics in Heflin, a thriving gymnastics and cheer facility serving families across District 40. In 2024, her husband launched his own property services and maintenance business, further investing in the local community they love.
Kaycee is running for Alabama State House, District 40, to bring strong conservative leadership, protect families, support rural communities, and ensure that the tax dollars sent to Montgomery finally come back home. She is committed to prioritizing the needs of Cleburne and Calhoun County, without raising taxes, and standing up for the values that make Cleburne and Calhoun Counties exceptional places to live.
